Marvel Legends X-Men '97 Jean Grey

I was quite surprised by this figure. The initial pictures didn't look great to me, but after seeing it in hand, I think she looks pretty good. I think she has one of the better head sculpts for this character, definitely better than the VHS "animation" version, in my opinion. The upper body looks a bit strange, just the way it was sculpted, and she has a weird ball-joint waist, which I have never seen on a Marvel Legends. While I prefer the more-typical diaphragm cut, her torso articulation is still quite functional; she can rotate and move side to side. She is lacking a bit in accessories, but it's certainly nice to have the alternate head and hands. Overall, I think she's a good figure. If you don't already have a Jean Grey, or if you're a fan of the newly released series, I think she's a worthy addition to any X-Men collection.
