Remarkable

I do think that a lot of people give this mold flack because "the old mold was good enough why did they make a new one", but in reality this mold is remarkable for achieving a much better look, feel, better articulation (as it doesn't feel like it's going to break and has more range of movement), and this 212th clone in particular has a much nicer color scheme in person.
I would highly recommend it if you are looking to get 212th clones in a 6 inch scale.

STAR WARS the Black Series 212th Battalion Clone Trooper

What can I say? Firstly, this figure was NOT an easy figure to get one’s hands on. I believe this was a GameStop.ca exclusive figure, however, the time it lasted on the website was definitely not more than a day. SOLD OUT! as so many Clone Troopers often are. This figure is one that you undoubtedly look to obtain more than one of. There are SO many points of articulation on this figure, more than previous Clone Troopers for sure, that movement and pose look unbelievably natural, especially when the figure is posed with two hands on his rifle. Craftsmanship is spot on with the 212th, and the paint application looks fantastic! While “orange” may be my least appreciated colour of the palette, it goes far beyond expectation on this figure. One thing I have noticed that is a little off, and it may not be with this figure in particular, is that the 212th Battalion Clone Trooper’s shade of orange is slightly different than that of the Commander Cody’s shade of orange. I have never owned the original version of Commander Cody, only the Archive Series version, and I’m wondering if THAT is where the difference becomes most noticeable. Perhaps it is the rebooted version of Cody that portrays the more vivid shade of orange in contrast. Overall, this is one of the best Black Series figures created to date and may just be MY favourite figure in the entire series.
